With less than 500 blocks to go, bitcoin approaches its historical moment where the block reward will be halved to 12.5 bitcoins from 25.

I wasn’t really active then so this might be another boost to the crypto currency. Speculate away, but I think the technology is still quite awesome being that it:

• Has the similar properties of gold
• with one additional property that it can be moved anyway without too much effort,
